Ah Rakesh,

Me thinks you do protest too much.  I was not indeed insulting you or
making fun of you when I called you brilliant.  I have no doubt whatsoever
about that.  And I know that you do not either.

Now let me not stoop to insults. I  ignored the hompophbia in your remarks
about Lou and Carroll because this was a radical and I trust one off
departure for you. 

I can of course be insulting when I want to but in the spirit of saying
goodbye to you as you leave the list, I will wish you all the best for the
holidays and truthfully I look forward to your posts in the new year.
