	Your concept of debt reminds me of several quite conservative
capitalist commentators, Jimmy Rogers, the currency speculator, among them. 
The debt that the US owes it's foreign creditors is the very highest grade
debt available.  In other words the how of how to pay it back was clear at
the time of issuance.  The only problem with US foreign debt is that these
customers for our debt may have bought their limit, meaning no increase and
very possibly a net decrease in demand for our debt going forward.  Release
your Marxist fear of debt.  It's what makes the world go around.
