Gremlins took away asterisks (funny, that, when asterisks are so
fashionable) denoting section breaks within these two postings, which
has the effect of jumbling events which took place just prior to and
just after the rising itself.
I'm not going to do it again and you're all clever enough to spot
the joins anyway but if anyone wants the corrected version
let me know off-list and I'll send it.
