Very true. The Greens have yet to discover the politics of production,
which is unfortunate, because the global Left needs to generate a new
sort of Red-Green synthesis -- a politics of global production and not
just consumption (I know this, because I'm a card-carrying
member of the Greens here in Oregon, and getting Green folks to
solidarize with labor and other issues has been tough).

On another topic entirely, how's the multi-cultural struggle going in
Sweden? Are the citizenship laws there as fascist as the ones in Germany,
or is there progress being made? Any chance that the new EU citizenship
will be made available to immigrants any time soon?
