The movements which were inspired by the Cuban revolution, and by Che,
are by nomeans all spent forces, nor in any way "debased" as Lou Godena
insists.

What about the ELN in Colombia? Still fighting, still strong. The FARC-
EP, too.
And my own comrades in our sister party, the DHKP-C in Turkey and
Kurdistan. They are going from strength to strength.

One final point. Plenty of people today want to stress that Che
"failed". In the vast majority of cases, this is made by people who have
never achieved anything politically in their lives, or who represent
political tendencies which have never won - and never will will - a
revolution.

Che is an inspiration. The only people who do not acknowledge that are
his enemies - the imperialists, of course, but also certain dogmatic
Marxists who refuse to move on from outdated positions of the 1960s.
