Subject: Re: M-I: On Che

Just a quick note on Che:

I recently saw Jean Franco giving an (excellent) talk on Che--or rather
on the use of his image in (mainstream) US and Latin American discourse.
Mainly she focused on the three Che biographies (by Jorge Castaneda,
Taibo Ignacio II and someone else) that have recently come out in English.

Anyhow, she did a very good critique of these, but by contrast
represented an exhibition on Che that's currently (I believe) on in
Chicago, though unfortunately I don't know why.

Anyone know what this is or has seen it?

Take care

Jon
