Thank you for your comment, Jim. You may not be an economist, but in my
opinion we don't have to be an economist to understand economics, just like
we don't have to be a scientist to understand science. 

It is important in the revolutionary movement to communicate clearly and
precisely, and briefly if possible. Just as in science writing and academic
writing, etc., difficult reading is not a sign that the material is important. 

For those who missed it, here is the definition to which Jim refered:

Value is the monetary quantity which capitalists acquire by (1)
appropriating part or all of the wealth produced by the labor of paid,
underpaid, and unpaid workers; and (2) externalizing the real costs of
production to the communities and lands of people of color, to the family,
and to the taxpayers.
