Barkley, I have neither the desire nor the obligation to clarify
anything to you.  You seem to have a very well-formed opinion of what
my politics are.  Would you not say that your image of my politics
warrants saying that there is a difference in our political temperaments
and agendas?  Or do you, on the contrary, regard me as your comrade?  
Or do you think that although you treat my politics, without knowing the 
first thing about them, with knee-jerk contempt, yet _I_ am, for some 
incomprehensible reason, supposed to regard _you_ as a comrade to whom 
I owe trust and solidarity?  Or do you think I am a service corporation
that owes you services?

No, I am not in Virginia, and I am afraid I have not read any Rorty.
Is he bad?
