A quick reply to one of Lou's recent points, and I have to do other things
than agonize over marxist maillists for a few hours.

Yes. I absolutely agree. We have contradictions here, the working out of
which is going to be messy.

We do have a lot of thinking to do. As that famous chauvinist Tennyson
remarked, cannon to the left of them, cannon to the right of them etc.
