Subject: M-INTRO: exploitation of workers

Recently I have seen Marxist view of the worker in a capitalist society.
Workers in our culture are exploited all the time by the capitalist in
order to make more money. Contemplating my life, I can see how this
exploitation has occured probably the entire time that I have been
employed. At a fast food restaurant the other day I saw a perfect
example to illustrate my point. I was waiting in line for ten minutes
with many other people to have my order taken. Viewing the situation, I
realized how short staffed this business was at the time (only two
employees). At that precise moment, a man, I presume it was the owner,
mentioned to one of the workers how profits would be greater now because
they were able to cut the staffing. I was outraged!!! So while two five
dollar an hour employees are frantically making tacos, the line gets
longer, and the capitalist owner gets richer. It does not have to be
this way!! Please help me. I really want to know how you are able to be
a Marxist in a capitalist driven society? And secondly, what can I do to
change the way we view the worker in our society?
