Dave your stuff against Neil on the character of the former Soviet Union is 
just great!
Neal has been utterly defeated now both on this central question and in fact 
is linked to is ultra left (actually rigtwing in practice) position on the 
trade unions. Neil treats the trade unions in the sme way as he treats the 
once degenerated workers state of the Soviet Union and the deformed workers 
states. It is the classical position of Schactman and company in the 
atomosphere of the ninties of "throwing out the baby with the bath water" or 
"a plague on both of your houses".
