Subject: M-INTRO: Email Class about Das Kapital



I am going to teach my email class about Marx's Capital at the
University of Utah one more time this academic year, class starts on
April 2 and goes until June 4.  I am also scheduled to teach it
three times next academic year: the first time from September 25 until
December 4, 1997, the second time Janary 8 until March 12, 1998, and
the third time March 31 - June 2nd, 1998.

One of the requirements in this class is that the participants 
subscribe to marxism-intro and make at least 3 submissions during the
quarter.  Another requirement is that they have to send answers to
selected study questions to a special pseudonym email list housed at
the University of Utah.  The students will get my detailed feedback to
these answers.

I have always invited outside observers for the homework assignments,
since this makes the discussion more interesting.  If you want a
detailed tour through Marx's *Capital*, you are welcome to join.
Please email me if you are interested and I will give you instructions
how to get the study materials.
