Subject: M-INTRO: Technology and capitalism

I have been following the argument upon Netrom's question. Uafiuroa,
Anagram, Landron, in their answers, accepted that Marx's theory is
still valid, However, Anagram says that:
"It's hard to say, though, because Marx could not have foreseen hour
for technology has taken us, and what affect it would truly have on
society."

In my opinion, Marx did not have to focus what is going on today with
respect to technology. Because his responsibility in this sense was to
make the scientific analysis of the tendencies and process in the
system:

" the objective of the development of the productivity of labour
(i.e. technological development,Spartakist) within the context of
capitalist production is the shortening of that part of the working
day in which the vorker must work for himself, and the logthening,
thereby, of the other part of the day, in which he is free to work
for nothing for the capitalist."(Capital, Vintage437:2)

The main procedure mentioned by Marx above has been going on,
however, in different "colors." Moreover, we still live that procedure
with contradictions created by itself.

We should not forget that, capitalism is a system of accumulation
of crises produced by itself. Therefore, it tries to overcome crises
by reproducing itself(i.e. new technologies are one of the ways).
