He did see the “freedoms” of the monarchy in England and most likely had read of the governmental system in the United States. Most of the freedoms laid out in the constitution don’t have a lot to do with our capitalistic economy. The constraints of capitalism effect the labor time a person sells, not their ability to, for example, worship freely. Marxism can only exist if the whole world is incorporated, because outside countries which have a competitive market would have pull on the world market, most likely causing the communist economy to fail. --- from list marxism-intro-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
