It is at this point I would like to say that capitalism is not a form of government but rather an economic way of life. Yes capitalism has a tendency to promote greed and a desire for wealth, but could a socialist economy, closer to what Marx talks about, develop in the United States without a violent government revolution? I think some people have a tendency to confuse the type of government and the type of economic policies they follow.
