Unfortunately, opinions are like assholes, and everybody has one. Moreover, REDBRENs comments slide out of the realm of logical opinions. Instead, this moron has the audacity to declare that patriotism carries the equivalence to consumerism, "a wonderful way to prop up the powers that be." Where on earth did your mind conjure this up from? Are you that blatantly ignorant to realize that in many countries you would be subject to death just for saying something like that (for those who want an example, Iraq). Yes, be thankful that you are in a country that accepts your ignorance, of course reluctantly on my part. Be thankful that in many cases your stupidity would be rewarded, mainly by those in liberal institutions, such as colleges and perhaps the corporate/liberal media. However, I find your opinions to be derived from the equivalent of whale excrement, the only place they belong is at the lowest part of the sea! I have a country for you that does not entail any of what you do not seek, try Ruwanda. --- REDBREN-AT-pseud.pseud wrote: > Why are you proud to be American..as distinct from > British, Australian, > Pakistani, French etc??
