Subject: M-INTRO: Pure capitalism vs. pure communism

Greed does foster a disbelief in God. It leads a man to believe that he no
longer has any responsibility towards anyone besides himself. This is a bad
thing. Don't let it be confused with trying to be self-sufficient. I believe
that to be common misunderstanding in the previous responses.

By definition, pure capitalism depends on the "rational man" seeking out his own
profit with disregard to anyone else. We do not have a pure capitalism, and
it's a good thing.

On the other hand, communist countries have often not allowed any religion which
can be damaging because it discourages any beliefs besides those that the
government supports. Freedom of religion should not be left behind freedom of
speech.

Perhaps their is a better form of communism that allows different religions to
worship and do good in the country. Religions are a great means for people to
go about doing good for others besides relying on the government to provide
those kinds of services.

In short, neither pure capitalism nor pure communism are good for fostering care
for others. Most countries are somewhere in between. This is ideal in
preventing greed and encouraging goodwill among men.
