The main reason the candidates use the "facts," or
lack there of that they do is soley based on poles. 
No matter what each of the candidates say, whether
they base their opinions on polls or not I will tell
you that they both make their opinions and facts
revolve around the polls.  A quick solution to this
problem is stop doing so many polls!  As Americans we
are hit with too much information, we are at
information overload, according to the latest polls
(just kidding).  I do feel though that at some point
there will be a candidate out there, running on
his/her own money and just stating there opinions
instead of what this or that demographic wants to
here.  At this point in time I feel that we have the
obligation to tell the pollsters, "Shut up!"  So if
you recieve a phone call from Gallup, Zogby, etc. do
your duty and tell them to leave you alone and hang
