A quick response to Optcost

"No other attacks have occured on U.S. soil since his campaign to try and end
terrorism."

The last terrorist attack (by an outside group) on American soil prior to 9/11
was in 1993 with the failed bombing of the world trade center. Terrorist
attacks on American soil are somewhat of a rarity, so to use this as evidence
that Bush is doing a good job makes no sense.

"Imagine what would have happened if Al Gore was the president??? I guarantee
there would be plently more attacks and casualties on U.S. soil."

Ok, provide evidence. This is a ridiculous claim and you provide absolutely no
evidence to support it. How exactly can you go about guaranteeing this?

"Saddam was a viscious dictator that abuse his power towards his people & BROKE
UN inspection rules OVER 5 times!!!"

I wonder how many rules the US broke in invading Iraq, nevermind the war
violated international law. Saddam was a terrible dictator, a terrible
dictator the US helped to bring to power. I don't see the US policing the rest
of the world in this manner, curious that we do when oil is somehow involved.

"Yes, that might be true, but it is to protect us."

>From what, the weapons that never existed?

The invasion of Iraq failed to provide weapons of mass destruction or evidence
of a working relationship between Sadam and Al Qaeda which was the primary
reason for going to war. Not only that, but since the invasion of Iraq Al Qaeda
recruitment has sky rocketed. Al Qaeda has a much bigger presence in Iraq then
they had prior to the war. Much are the world now views the United States as a
threat to global stability and peace. Bush is creating more enemies and
alienating allies. This is supposed to make us safer?
