I am replying to the last comment made by Bobdog, "Marxism can foster a
God-fearing people as it puts everyone as equals and strives to provide
programs for helping one another, but it may require an even stronger
religious conviction than the Evangelical Right can claim."

I agree with this comment and would like to say a few words regarding my
view to socialism with the emphases on religious convictions. First of all
I am not a huge fan of capitalism or socialism, mainly because they both
have significant weakness; however who knows if there is a perfect system.
In regards to socialism, I believe in order for it to be a successful
system, 100% of the participants must buy-in. Or in other words, a religious
conviction of some sort must be adopted; everyone must be on the same page
for this equality to progress and perpetuate. On the other hand, capitalism
to a certain degree is a self sustaining operating system (it not perfect
of-course) where participants participate regardless of their beliefs,
values, education levels, and at the end of the day it gives them something
in return. Is it fair? No! In conclusion all economic systems are not
perfect and socialism may be the one of those that can provide the best
equality, however human nature of greed, power, and control derails both
systems.
