In response to Optcost's thoughts: Some of the points
made were valid, but it is not correct or fair to
compare modern society with an agricultural society.
Can you honestly say that modern society is more
righteous than 100 years ago when a man's character
was judged by his integrity and moral uprightness,
rather than how nice of a car he drives? It doesn’t
matter how long of a day you work if the rewards
gained are for your self-satisfaction. Quality of life
is not determined by technology or luxuries. (see
modern divorce rates) or possessions (see Confucius)
