I agree with communistcows thoughts about not being able to compare out 
times with those of 100 years ago. Things back then were different and the 
jobs that people did required different skills and hours. When it comes to 
working 8 hour work days, I think that it is important to have a median so 
that people aren't over worked and that they are being exploited but also 
there are people who enjoy working and they liked working 15 hours a day. I 
am a person who always thinks about my work and want to become better and 
what I do, even if I work only 8 hours a day I bring my work home with me so 
I really end up working 10 plus hours. I don't think you can really put a 
number on the hours a person should work because we all work differently and 
some are just faster at what they do and they shouldn't be punished for 
that. I do agree with commuinstcow when he said that the quality of life 
isn''t determined by our luxuries and our happiness is what is really 
important.
