One of the reasons given (and far from the strongest in my opinion) for the
renewed assault on the city of Fallujah is that it is necessary far all
parts of the country to participate in the January elections in order for
them to be seen as legitimate... But, even if the elections are held country
wide would a Marxist see these elections as legitimate, or more simply put
are: are any elections viewed as legitimate? If in a society the rules of
game are established by capitalists then these rules will naturally lead to
the the entrrenchment of capitalist interests and protection of their power?
If so, can a worker actually work for lieration within the system?
