There's a sport called Hockey??? I where has it been?
Ya that's right it has been gone and no one has
cared! I am all for it as well! The players will end
up pulling their heads out of their butts and realize
that they were making a lot of money and give in,
because if i was an owner i sure as hell wouldn't want
to pay someone that huge amount of money to play a
sport that seems barely profitable. Take last year
the Stanley Cup finals were broadcast to the world.
Yet so was Full House Re-runs and SpongeBob Square
Pants. Both of which had Higher Neilson TV ratings
than the Hockey Playoffs did. No wonder the owners
have locked the players out. I'd do the same thing,
if my team got beaten out in the TV ratings by Those
Olson Twins!!! Athletes are over paid and they know
it. Patrick Ewing a former New York Knick once said
"Hey, we make a lot of money, but we also spend a lot
of money!" Here's some advice. Stop spending so much
money and save it and deal with the lower salaries!
As for Hockey Players they can stay over there in
Europe and Canada and play in their local leagues and
make the local salaries and after a few years no one
will even remember that Hockey existed here in the US.
