I wanted to go back to the topic shawn214 and Chuckb were discussing.
First of all in Bush I think people see someone that is easily trusted,
because he comes off as a sincere person. Many people poor in US have strong
feeling and connections to past wars and army in general. To them the fear
of foreigners and in their minds "terrorists" is so strong that they choose
the fighter.
I don't think the poor of America are stupid but I do think that we
beleive things plainly. Nobdoy questions the inforormation. We are told they
are bad guys that means they all must be bad. Its that blind religious
believe in something that we don't actually understand but for the peace of
mind we agree with it. It comes down to fear. Fear of terrorism, fear of
change, fear of new, fear of gays, fear of diversions of morality, fear of
opposing their religion, fear of people that are different from them. In
their minds Bush protects them, because he is basic and plain and in his
speech and mannerism he is just like them.
I do think it is important to understand their way of thinking.
Otherwise we will not have any succesful movements, if they are not found on
the principals that understand capitalists. It is only through the educaiton
that people become more aware. it will benefit us if we understand the way
of thinking for the republicans. Otherwise system cannot be prenetratable
