Subject: M-NEWS: Email Class about Das Kapital



My email class about Marx's Capital at the University of Utah is going
to take place one more time this academic year, from April 2 until
June 4.  I am also scheduled to teach it three times next academic
year: the first time from September 25 until December 4, 1997, the
second time Janary 8 until March 12, 1998, and the third time March 31
- June 2nd, 1998.

One of the requirements in this class is that the participants 
subscribe to marxism-intro and make at least 3 submissions.
Another requirement is that they have to send answers to
selected study questions to a special pseudonym email list housed at
the University of Utah.  They will get my detailed feedback to
these answers, and they are also required to comment on and
build on each other's answers.

I have always invited outside observers for the homework assignments,
since this makes the discussion more interesting.  If you want a
detailed tour through Marx's *Capital*, you are welcome to join.
