It is taking the positions of the right wingers, becoming one more part of the legitimization of a society based on injustice, exploitation, inequality and oppression. In exchange it is receiving positions inside the government and a few crumbs from the booty that capitalists obtain through the savage exploitation of the working class. We have passed from the period of wating and discussion to the formation and building of the Revolutionary Proletarian Tendency (T.P.R.) in order to contribute to the construction of a Class alternative which is revolutionary, Socialist, and in solidarity with the struggles of the peoples of Mexcio, Peru, Cuba and all the peoples of the world. 2. In El Salvador the elections have proved to be a political project that has failed -- where neither right wing, nor Left, nor "center" together have been able to revitalize it, at least till now. We do not believe in elections; we mistrust them and all those political parties that are trying to revive that cadaver. Elections were, are, and will be an instrument through which they want to fool us, impose and sell a democracy that does not exist. 3. The struggle for a system without classes, of equality, where all live decently, with adequate housing, with education and free medical care, where everyone has food, continues to be valid and necessary. 4.No one, absolutely no one can take away from the oppressed y exploited the right to revolutionary struggle. At such time that the people again decide to do so, we will be their side unconditionally. 5. Our project has nothing to do with desperation. We have plenty of patience. The evidence of discontent is still partial, confused, unsure and disorganized, but that is where we begin: from the simple to the complex, discussing, clarifying, grouping together and organizing on the most elementary level in order to reach the levels that will hurt them. 6. Finally, we wish to base ourselves on the struggle and ideas of Salvador Cayetano Carpio. (Companero Marcial). The 12th of April, 1997 which is the 14th Anniversary of his death is the day we formally constitute the Revolutionary Proletarian Tendency. REVOLUTION OR DEATH WORKERS TO POWER T.P.R.
