Subject: St Patrick's Day parade

The Irish Republican Socialist Committees' San Francisco Bay Area branch's
Anti-Imperialist contingent in the San Francisco St. Patrick's Day parade
will assemble on McAllister Street, between Leavenworth and Hyde at noon on
Sunday, March 15th.

The IRSC's position numbers are 59 & 60.

We request your organization's (or individual) confirmation as soon as
possible, if you intend to participate this year, and would greatly appreciate a
rough estimate of the number of participants you will be bring.

Thus far we have confirmation from the Peace and Freedom Party and the All-
African People's Revolutionary Party.

We remind participants that we will be joining in the "A Rose for Roisin"
campaign, which is calling for supporters of the campaign to free Roisin
McAliskey to
wear a red rose on St. Patrick's Day to promote awareness of her plight and the
level of support she enjoys. We also remind participants that we encourage
placards
calling for support for a 32-county Irish Workers' (or socialist) Republic,
or simply for Irish national liberation.

The IRSC's mobile entry in the parade this year will focus on the
continuity of struggle over the past 200 years, in honor of the anniversary
of the 1798 United Irishmen's uprising.

Organizations are also asked to advise if they are bringing their own
identifying banner, or would like the IRSC's assistance in bring identifying
placards
for your group.

You may reach us via email, or call (415) 861-1355.
