Subject: M-NEWS: Endorsements and tables for Bernadette Devlin McAliskey


Bernadette Devlin McAliskey will be speaking in the auditorium of 
Mission High School in San Francisco under the auspices of the
Roisin McAliskey Justice Campaign, on Saturday, April 25, 1998.

We are presently seeking organisational endorsements for the
event as well as those interested in having a table for literature
or information there.  There is no fee for endorsement, and an
organisation need not be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
To endorse, please send your organisation's name, the name of
a contact person, your mailing address, and phone (and fax, if
applicable) number with a brief message advising that you would
like to endorse. Please be certain to specifiy if the organisation's
name is given for identification purposes only.

For those in the Bay Area, or with chapters in the San Francisco
Bay Area, who would be interested in having a table at the event,
a donation of $25.00 is requested, preferablly in advance (checks
should be made out to the Roisin McAliskey Justice Campaign)
and will be presumed to include an endorsement as well unless
you specifiy otherwise. All groups wanting to have a table at the
event must supply their own, as none will be available at the
site. The fee for the table will also permit admission for one,
possiblly two, persons to staff the table.

The donation requested for admission to the speaking event 
for attendees in general will be $10 per person.

We strongly encourage labor unions, organisations of the Left,
Irish organisations, and others engaged in national liberation,
anti-imperialist, socialist, or other progressive movements to
show their support for Roisin McAliskey's struggle for justice
and the progressive legacy of her mother, Bernadette, by lending
their name to the list of endorsers for the event as soon as they
are able.
