Subject: introducing myself


My name is Richard Bos, and I live in a rural area of South East
England.

I subscribed to this list because I have a love of people, and an
interest in what makes them tick. 

I have had many experiences of friends who have been unable to cope with
the pressures that capitalist society has put on them. These have
manifested themselves in varying forms of mental breakdowns, alcoholism,
and drug dependancy.

I do not have the benefit of a univercity education, so I hope that most
of the discussions on this list will be accessable to people with a
pretty basic understanding of modern psychology, but with a reasonable
intelligence, and a willingness to learn.
