Please explain the hilarity, I don't get it.  I thought he was making
a fairly trite point that when objective natural processes seem to be
contradictory in light of our theories, it probably means our theories
need improvement.  Isn't this how science operates?  I've never heard
of a scientist who'd rest easy with a conviction that one accepted
natural law operates in contradiction to another accepted natural law.
But maybe Ralph was making some other point, untrite and gradly hilarious.
