Subject: M-TH: Nike Trainers


I'm doing some research into commodity fetishism and Mike Featherstone told
me of a pair of Nike trainers that attracted some interest in the States.
Either these trainers ended up in a museum and drew in fashion conscious
kids who normally wouldn't enter such a place, or, they were displayed in a
store as if they were in a museum/gallery.
Has any one heard this tale or know where I can get further info?
