Subject: M-TH: CyberForum


Hi all,
Just a brief mail to tell of a CyberForum that I've been setting up. It's
web based and can be found at http://art.derby.ac.uk.
At the moment it's in its very early days but it has the potential to
become whatever people make of it.
The actual site is comprised of two parts. Most of it is dedicated to
internal student conferences at The University of Derby UK. These are
password protected. 

The part that may of interest to Marxism thaxis/psych subscribers is the
Open Access:CyberForum which is open to all to contribute to/view.

This forum can be found at the top of a scrolling frame to the left of the
page. Here there are a variety of discussions ranging from CyberMarxism
through to Movie Trivia. All are at their very early stages and some of the
discussions are not especially high level, but once again its potential is
to be created.
Unlike the mailing list discusions you do not need to subscribe, all you
need to do is visit the site as it suits you and see what messages people
have sent. If anyone wants a new topic set-up (perhaps to discuss something
arcane that would not warrant a full blown mailing list), please send me a
mail.
I'm publicising this site in a selective manner at the moment (i.e., I'm
avoiding Marxism General...!), but if you would like to send on these
details to others who might be interested, please feel free.
