This is most remarkable, Karl. I thought we had a cordial
exchange before, and I assumed we were continuing to exchange on cordial
grounds. What is most remarkable is that you take disagreement to be
dishonesty. We all have time constraints in this world, and sometimes
when we answer, we don't post dissertations in response. I am not fudging
nor am I running away from debate with you. But the nature of my
disagreement is epistemic, and I wrote a book on the subject. I didn't
think it feasible to repeat the intricacies of that argument on this list.
If you would like to see the more explicit and comprehensive response,
check out my MARX, HAYEK, AND UTOPIA (SUNY Press, 1995)... that is, if you
can handle my "dishonesty."

As for frank discussions with marxists on the list... I've been
here for YEARS discussing the labor theory of value, business cycle
theory, dialectics, economic calculation under socialism, the nature of
fascism, and Lord knows what else. I don't think it necessary to keep
reiterating the same things over and over and over again.

So before accusing your interlocutor of dishonesty, do a little
homework.
