	This reminds me: are currency traders just sharpening their knives
and salivating at the idea of playing the Euro?   After their attacks on
non-floating asian currencies of last month, it occurred to me that the
cumbersome, deliberative process that governs the Euro will interfere with
the efficiency of the float, especially when the boys in the pits get after
it.  Is this a limit to "globalizationism" (I thought I'd try and coin a
new term, even less meaningful than its prececessor)  



	Maybe Doug Henwood has a reaction to this.
