Hi folks,

Allow me to add a brief comment on the above bit of misinformation used by
the anti-global warming people:

All general circulation models of climate change predict a cooling of
the stratosphere as part of the process of increasing ground
temperature with an enhanced greenhouse effect. Thus, the satellite
measurements of stratospheric temperatures, which are fundamentally more
inaccurate than ground-based measurements anyway, SHOULD
demonstrate a cooling trend. This actually confirms global warming.

No need. Increased CO2 concentration from industrial output, along with
even more rapidly increasing concentrations of more potent greenhouse
gases like methane, will increase the planet's average temperature
significantly.
