G'day Thaxists,

I've nothing to say but that I wholeheartedly second Ralph's comments on
James's terrific post.  Clear writers are a rare wonder these days.  All my
messy responses to the learned fashions of late will henceforth be biting,
cogent and punchy denunciations.

And all because I'll be shamelessly paraphrasing James's arguments to
anyone who'll listen.
