Subject: M-TH: Moderator's Note

G'day Thaxists,

Australia is a tough country when it comes to defamation, so just a couple
of notes to you all for form's sake. It's 3.40 am in NZ, so I've not had a
chance to check this with Bill, on whose behalf I write this until and
unless he says different.

Posts to the list are automatically switched - the moderators do not see
them before you get them. In that sense, Marxism-Thaxis is an unmoderated
list. Furthermore, the publicly accessible archives can not be edited by
the moderators.

Thus do the moderators give notice they'll not accept any responsibility
for the content of posts they themselves did not author. Bounced messages
shall be scrutinised and passed on to the list only if both moderators are
satisfied no risk pertains. It is my intention to amend the list's
information sheet accordingly.

Here endeth the covering of arses. Please send any responses you have to
both of us (unless they're rude, in which case Bill doesn't deserve 'em
yet). Ta.

Cheers,
Rob.
