Yup. Substitute "transnational" for "negative" and you have Adorno's
essential framework. Reconciliation would not just be with Nature, it
would also be reconciliation with other human beings: the end of
capitalist prehistory would, in a strange kind of way, also be the end of
natural history's dominion over human beings, of the relentless struggle
of all against all, of what Sartre called the violence of serialized
scarcity (it being understood that prehistory is the subjective and
natural history the objective tendency of capital).
