It's "Jurriaan", and not "Dave". I don't think it is necessarily "sad news"
that we're nearly all middle class boys between 35 and 50, and certainly
many friends of mine are working class boys.  My hands are up, since I do
not have either Led Zeppelin lV or Dark Side Of The Moon in a cupboard
somewhere.  Why should "even the things we believe be harder to understand
now than they used to be" ?   Personally I don't subscribe to an
essentially 'blokey' (male) mode of  communication. I feel okay about my
own history when it comes to women, and the Left did a lot for women's
liberation. What do you mean by "our stock theory on the issue of gender" ?
