    Rebecca seems to be arguing that if something was on TV then it must be
    counter-revolutionary. In fact Channel4 commissioned the film because it
    was a good idea, and showed it because it was well made. However, if you
    suspect it was counter-revolutionary, then why don't you read the
    transcript on the Channel4 website and decide for yourself, instead of
    using a priori reasoning.
   
    You might recall that at the height of the Western intervention in
    Yugoslavia, Living Marxism correspondent Joan Hoey made a documentary
    for Channel4 challenging the media's war propaganda. In 1980, we made an
    open door programme about the detention of refugees. Its not easy to get
    something challenging on TV, but with a bit of work, it can be done.
