I'm probably the only one who has gone through and read the LM archives extensively. (That is one of the reasons I am always in high dudgeon over this cult.) Jurriann's rant doesn't surprise me all that much after some of the crap that I've seen out there. One article, in particular, argues that post-rape trauma has been exaggerated. Which is too bad because it supposedly encourages a "victim" mentality. The article, in typical LM fashion, cites a woman who has made a plucky recovery and asks why can't more women act that way. The reliance on this sort of anecdotal evidence is typical of Reagan era discourse, which they are trying to revive with a vengeance. What is LM really? 1980s nostalgia buffs.
