Sounds good. But how about some of the journalism, e.g. a couple articles
on the 1848 revolutions, on the British political system, or on American
capitalism etc. from the Neue Rheinische Zeitung? Some of
that stuff is quite funny, wickedly barbed, but far more accessible 
to a first-time reader than the theoretical works.
