Subject: M-TH: Re: "Young Sidney Hook"


The article mentions that the young Sidney Hook got into hot water with
teachers and administrators at "Boys High School" in NYC. It is thus
somewhat ironic that decades later a public high school would be named the
"Norman Thomas High School" after the former [reformist] Socialist Party
leader. Presumably, young radicals still get into periodic trouble with
faculty and administrators at NTHS.
