Carrol and others:
I figured out what Louis P did that pissed me off. He made our disagreement
over some fine books written by people associated with *Living Marxism*
(furedi, gillott and kumar, kennedy)  an occasion to suggest that my
putatively mistaken favorable review has something to do with  reading
Mattick, Carchedi or Daum--all of whom did not figure at all into my post
with which Louis P disagreed. I feel bad enough that I have not been able
to devote my full concentration to these arguments but to use posts of mine
which have nothing to do with said authors as occasion to insinuate their
guilt by my (intellectual) association just seemed  underhanded and slimy.
Louis P will shoot indiscriminately to bring down his target; he was aiming
at innocent people and this made me venomous. He disagrees with me on
indigeneous activism and then all of sudden he concludes that my mistaken
analysis is derived from Carched (who has written in support of the Chiapas
rebellion and may disagree with me as well--I just couldn't stand the
mischaracterization of others' arguments). These are the debating tactics
of a real asshole--that is, a party hack.
