From: "Rebecca Peoples" <wellsfargo-AT-tinet.ie> Subject: M-TH: United Front1 Date: Mon, 29 Dec 1997 18:02:42 -0000 Dear Bob, In the present period, where revolutionaries are not in the leadership of the mass of working class women, the tasks of organising such a movement still exist. We demand of the Social Democratic and Stalinist leaders of the working class that they provide resources and support for the building of such a movement. [Is this not an incorrect demand?]. In this way we can enter in to a united front with the most militant sections of working class women and, through joint actions and communist propaganda, seek to win them from their misleaders. You say that the above piece is bullshit and nothing but cenrtist garbage. But is not possible for revolutionaries to force under mass pressure this element to provide more resources. In this way the confidence of the masses in their own power is built up while they see through their own class experience that these resources were only provided under pressure and as a means of stalling and containing them. Can this success not be built on to, on a revolutionary basis, further pressurise and expose them culminating in their eventual replacement by a revolutionary leadership. Communist greetings, Rebecca --- from list marxism-thaxis-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
