First, the point os socialism is to give ownership of the means of production to the proletariat. Second, the idea that politically controlled decisions will not serve sectional or private interests is utopianism. In any system conflicting interests must be assumed. Politicians are *supposed* to serve sectional interests. Steering deliberative bodies away from serving sectional interests is well-nigh impossible. Remember, we're not talking about laws here. We're talking about money and resources.
