And now I am supposed to respond in kind, making some obnoxious comments about
the quality of Left Business Observer, about the pseudo-radical nature of
Doug's pompous political posturing, about his self-selection as the apex of
'political wisdom', deigning to throw this one-liner bones to the masses, on
this list. But you see this is a old script, and Doug has already played it so
often with Jerry, BM, and a whole host of others on this list that one more
revival, even off-off-Broadway, just won't cut the mustard. It's time for a
new plot. Just because Doug likes acting the part of Clarence Thomas doesn't
mean I'm obligated to play Ted Kennedy for him. Flame away, my innocent
Dougie!
