Anyway, my initial position, if I remember right, in the Peru flamefest was
pretty hostile to PCP. But then I withdrew from the battle, confessing that
I had no fucking idea what's going on in Peru, and that any opinions I
might have had were just things I'd absorbed from other folks, many of whom
had no direct experience themselves. So, then like now, I just don't know.
I'm grateful for Lou P's report, because there's some real information and
analysis there. Reports from LMCMRMCRI are about as reliable as those from
The Weekly World News: some of it may be true, but you don't know which
part.
