Louis's post reminds me of all the shit that went down, some from people
who should have known (do know) better, when marxism-"1" was dissolved and
marxism-international was formed. All those who seemed to think that
bad-mouthing Spoons for censorship was the 1990s equivalent of smashing
the state. We do owe an awful lot to Spoons, to all of them. Sometimes
some marxists (or should I say "marxists") act as though a revolution
could consist of only those who had memorized and could recite by rote all
the classics.
